Vacuum Bags High Quality Disposable Food Grade Foil Heat Seal Print Plastic Storage Freezer Packaging Pouch
Product Details
The choice of material for vacuum bags depends mainly on the characteristics of the packaged products and packaging requirements. The following are some common vacuum bag materials:
1. polyethylene (PE): low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), with good flexibility and sealing, suitable for general food vacuum packaging.
2. polypropylene (PP): high strength and heat resistance, suitable for food or non-food products that require more robust packaging.
3. polyethylene terephthalate (PET): with high strength and transparency, commonly used in vacuum packaging that requires high transparency and strength requirements.
4. nylon (PA): has good mechanical properties and barrier properties, suitable for vacuum packaging requiring high barrier properties.
5. polyvinylidene dichloride (PVDC): excellent barrier properties, suitable for products with very high requirements for oxygen and water vapour barrier.
6. multilayer composites: these are usually made by laminating two or more layers of film of different materials to combine the advantages of different materials. Example:
- PE/PA/PE: combines the flexibility of PE with the strength and barrier properties of PA.
- PE/PET/PE: Combines the sealing properties of PE with the strength and transparency of PET.
- PA/EVOH/PA: combines the strength of PA with the excellent barrier properties of EVOH.
7. Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA): has good flexibility and sealing properties, and can be used for products that require a certain level of barrier properties.
8. biodegradable materials: such as polylactic acid (PLA), suitable for products requiring environmentally friendly packaging.
